Ashlyna 91 Day is an extended-cycle combination hormonal oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. It contains two hormones — Levonorgestrel (a synthetic progestin) and Ethinyl Estradiol (a synthetic estrogen). Unlike traditional 28-day birth control packs, Ashlyna uses a 91-day cycle, meaning you take active pills for 84 consecutive days followed by 7 days of low-dose estrogen pills. This extended-cycle design reduces the number of periods you have to approximately four per year. Ashlyna is manufactured by Glenmark Generics and is the generic equivalent of Seasonique.
Ashlyna is FDA-approved for prevention of pregnancy in females of reproductive potential. It is also used off-label for menstrual cycle regulation, reducing menstrual frequency, managing endometriosis-related symptoms, treating heavy menstrual bleeding, and managing menstrual migraines.
We have a 99% success rate finding medications, even during nationwide shortages.
