Most patients receive matches within 2 to 24 hours of starting their search. For the most difficult-to-find medications, it can take up to a few days, but we keep searching until we find it or your search qualifies for a refund.

No. Medfinder’s fee is for the medication locating service, which is separate from the cost of your medication. However, we will find a pharmacy that accepts your insurance so you can fill your prescription at your normal copay.

Yes! Almost all controlled substances can be located through Medfinder. We maintain policies unique to each medication and have different requirements to complete a search for certain controlled substances.

Not to worry! If this happens, let us know within 48 hours of when we notified you of your found medication, and we’ll restart your search at no additional charge.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to get access to pharmacy-level inventory data. We use a combination of AI technology and human copilots to contact pharmacies and verify stock in real time. The fee covers this work so you don’t have to spend hours calling around yourself.
